How to Remove Snake From Car Engine

If you’re reading this, it’s likely that you’ve had a snake encounter in your car engine. Don’t worry, we’re here to help. In this article, we’ll outline the steps necessary to remove a snake from an engine without causing any serious damage.

Identification of the Snake

There are four types of snakes that can be found in the United States. The most common type is the black snake, which is commonly found in the south. The other three types of snakes are the copperhead, the rattlesnake, and the cottonmouth.

To remove a snake from a car engine, you will need to first identify the type of snake. If it is a black snake, you will need to use a shovel to dig a hole large enough for it to crawl out of. If it is another type of snake, you will need to use a snake catcher to catch it.

Removal of the Snake

The snake can be a real menace on a car engine. If it gets into the engine, it can cause serious damage. In this article, we’ll show you how to remove the snake from a car engine.

1. Turn off the car and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Open the hood of the car and locate the serpentine belt tensioner pulley. It’s a large wheel with an orange handle on one side and a black gear on the other. The belt tensioner pulley needs to be rotated in order to loosen the serpentine belt. There is usually a red knob on top of it that you need to loosen before rotating it. If there is no red knob, then you may need to use a wrench to unscrew it. Once you have rotated the belt tensioner pulley, disconnect the serpentine belt from it by using a socket or wrench. Make sure not to pinch or tear the belt when disconnecting it!
3. Inspect the area around where the serpentine belt was connected to see if there is any damage done by the snake. If so, take some pictures and make note of what needs to be fixed before moving forward.
