How To Make A Barbie Doll Car Seat

Barbie is one of the most iconic dolls on the market, and for good reason. She’s fashionable, fun, and sweet—just like most girls are. But what many people don’t know is that there’s a Barbie doll car seat hidden inside of her box. If you want to make your own Barbie doll car seat, you can follow these simple instructions. It’s a great project for kids (or adults who want to pretend they’re kids) and will give your Barbie a spot to ride in style.

Materials for the Barbie Doll Car Seat

Materials for the Barbie Doll Car Seat:
-A piece of felt or fabric large enough to fit the Barbie doll and all of her accessories, including the car seat
-Thread
-An needle
-Scissors
-Hot glue gun and glue sticks
-Toy car or other small toy that can be placed in the Barbie doll’s car seat
Steps for making a Barbie Doll Car Seat:
1. Sew the felt piece to the top of your toy car or other small toy so it forms a seat. You can use a seam allowance of 1/2 inch, but if you want a more authentic look, you can use real seams. (You could also just hot glue the pieces together if you don’t want to sew them.)
2. Cut out a square in the felt big enough to fit your Barbie doll and her car seat accessories. This will be your template for cutting out all of your pieces. (Again, if you want an authentic look, you can make real templates from scratch.)
3. Trace around the template onto one side of your fabric piece. Be sure to draw a line straight down from each corner so that when you cut out your pieces they will all line up perfectly.
4. Cut out each piece using your scissors, being careful not to cut too close to the edge of the template or your fabric piece. Once you’ve completed cutting out each piece, press them flat with a hot iron if desired.

How to Make the Barbie Doll Car Seat

Step 1: If you haven’t already, gather your materials. You’ll need a Barbie doll, fabric softener, straight pins, a sewing machine and some thread.

Step 2: First, take the Barbie doll apart. Remove her head, arms and legs (you can keep the torso as is). You’ll also want to remove her seatbelt.

Step 3: Lay out your fabric on a flat surface. Place one side of the Barbie doll’s seatbelt on top of the fabric and pin it in place. Repeat with the other side.

Step 4: Sew the sides of the seatbelt together using a straight stitch or zigzag stitch. Make sure to leave a small opening at the bottom so that you can insert your Barbie doll’s feet.

Step 5: Once you’re done sewing, turn your Barbie doll seatbelt inside out so that it’s facing outwards. Pin it in place on top of your newly-sewn fabric piece.

Tips for Making a Barbie Doll Car Seat

There are a few things you’ll need to make your Barbie doll car seat. The first is some kind of fabric, such as a sheet or an old T-shirt. You can also use something like wrapping paper or butcher paper.

The next thing you’ll need is a sturdy piece of wood or plastic that will fit inside the Barbie car seat. You can use an old dresser drawer, for example, or even a wooden box.

You’ll also need some fabric scraps and some elastic bands. The elastic bands will go around the wooden frame and the fabric scraps will be used to cover the wood.
