So if you’re looking for a way to upgrade your child’s car seat, check out the Graco adapter first!
What You’ll Need
To convert a Graco car seat into a booster seat, you’ll need the following items:
-Graco convertible car seat
-Booster frame
-The car seat straps of the original Graco car seat
-New, stronger straps
-An automotive headrest adapter or child safety belt anchor kit
-A Phillips screwdriver
-An 8″L by 4.5″W piece of cardboard

2. On each side of the booster frame, there are 2 straps that attach to the padding on either side of the frame. Fit one strap over each side of the padding, pulling it tight so it’s snug against the fabric. Make sure the straps are hanging down evenly from each side of the frame.
3. Double check that all straps are correctly fitted and tighten as needed using your Phillips screwdriver. Be sure not to pinch any skin!
4. Reattach the clips from the front of your Graco convertible car seat and fit them over the straps on either side of the booster frame. Make sure they’re clipped in securely, then reattach both clips in front of your Graco convertible car seat’s padding.
5. Put your Graco convertible car seat back together as shown in Step 1: Open front panel, fit 2
How to Change the Graco Car Seat Into a Booster
If you are looking for a booster seat to fit your Graco car seat, there are several things to keep in mind. The first is that different car seats come in different sizes, so it is important to check the size chart on the product before you make your purchase.
Depending on the model of Graco car seat you have, you may need a booster seat that is either a one or two-in-1. A one-in-1 booster seat converts from a standard car seat into a booster seat. A two-in-1 booster seats converts from a standard car seat and a toddler chair.
If your car doesn’t have an extra spot available, you can try using an infant insert or using two regular car seats together as one big booster. Just be sure to remove any safety harnesses before doing this.
Once you know what size boosterseat you need, it’s time to find one that matches your Graco car seat. There are many brands and styles of boosters available, so it’s important to find one that will look good with your car and fit your needs. Some popular brands of boosters include Chicco, Maxi Cosi, Britax and Nuna.
Once you have found the right booster for your needs, it’s time to install it in your car. Be sure to read the instructions that came with the booster before installation so that everything goes smoothly!
Tips for Safe Booster Use
When it comes to safely switching your car seat from a forward-facing to a booster seat, keep the following tips in mind:
1. Make sure your car is properly adjusted for your new seat. Be sure that the harness fits well and that the height of the belt is appropriate for your child’s age and size. All Graco car seats come with a manual adjustment feature that makes it easy to customize your car seat fit.
2. Use an approved booster seat manufacturer or retailer when purchasing a booster seat for your car. Only use boosters made by Graco, Britax, and other reputable brands, as these seats have been tested and proven to be safe. Make sure you get an appropriate height booster for your vehicle; some models come in multiple heights to accommodate different driver heights.
3. Follow all safety guidelines when using a booster. Always use common sense – never leave a child unsupervised in a moving vehicle, even with a booster Seat!- always use buckles or straps properly, store the chair away from heat and cold sources, and do not use if there are any broken or missing parts.
