Changing inclines on a Graco car seat can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s one task you don’t want to skip when it comes to car safety. Here’s how to do it. 1. Open the car seat and remove the base. 2. Unbuckle the shoulder straps and take them off the child’s shoulders. 3. Slide each strap over one of the handlebar slots on either side of the seat and buckle them in place. 4. Insert the base into its corresponding slot on the car seat and tighten It by pulling up on the blue handle below. 5. Reattach the shoulder straps and close the car seat lid.
Locate the Incline Button
If you are looking to change the incline on your Graco car seat, there is a button on the right side of your seat. Simply move the lever up or down to adjust the incline.
Use the Incline Button to Change the Incline
The Graco Incline Button is located on the side of your car seat. It’s a small, horizontal button that you use to change the incline of your Graco car seat.
If you’re using a base model car seat, the incline button is found on the back of the seat. If you’re using a ClickTight car seat, the incline button is located on the left side of the car seat.
To change the incline of your Graco car seat:
1. Find the Graco Incline Button and press it down until it clicks into place.
2. Use your fingers to adjust the incline until you find a comfortable position for yourself and your child.
3. To return to its original position, press down on the button until it clicks again.
Remove the Key from the Seat
If you have a Graco car seat and your child is no longer using it, there are a few things you can do to remove the key from the seat. First, check to see if the key is still in the ignition. If it’s not, turn off your car’s engine and remove the key from the ignition. Next, open your car door and lift up on the handle of the car seat until it clicks out of position. Pull up on the straps to release it from its base. Finally, fold down the cup holder and storage pocket on either side of the seat and tuck them away out of sight.
Reinstall the Key in the Seat
If you have a Graco car seat, and you want to change the incline setting, follow these steps:
1. Find the screws that secure the incline adjustment handle to the seat. There are three of them, one on each side of the handle.
2. Remove the screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Be careful not to lose them!
3. Lift up the incline adjustment handle and remove it from the seat.
4. Slide the new incline adjustment handle onto the seat post, making sure that it snaps into place. Replace the screws that were removed in steps 1 and 2.
Tips for Safe Removal and Installation
