Over time, brake pads will start to wear down and become less effective. When this happens, your car may start to make a high-pitched noise when you apply the brakes, and your stopping distance may decrease. If you experience any of these symptoms, it’s time to flush your X01 brake pads.
What is XBrake Flushing?
XBrake Flushing is a procedure that helps to keep your brake system in good condition. It is done by flushing the brake fluid every time you change the oil in your car.
There are several benefits to flushing your XBrake system. Flushing helps to remove any built-up dust and debris that can clog up the brakes. It also warms up the brake fluid, which helps to reduce the chances of a brake failure.
If you have any questions about XBrake Flushing or anything else related to your car’s braking system, don’t hesitate to call our team at ASE. We would be happy to help you out!
How to do a XBrake Flush
If you are having trouble stopping your car, it might be time to do a XBrake Flush. This procedure is used to clear out the brake pads and calipers on your car’s XBrake system.
To do a XBrake Flush, first make sure that your car is in Park. Then press and hold the brake pedal until the green light starts flashing. Release the brake pedal as soon as the light turns off. Wait 10 seconds, and then drive your car until it stalls. Once your car stalls, release the parking brake and drive it home.
XBrake Flushes are usually necessary when the brakes start to show signs of wear or when you have had a lot of rain or snow on the roads. By doing an XBrake Flush, you can help to improve braking performance and keep your car from stopping suddenly in traffic.
What to Do After the Flush
If you have an X brake, there are a few things you need to do after the flush. First, make sure the brake pads are in good condition and properly seated on the rotors. Next, check that all of the hoses and connections are tight. Finally, ensure that all of the flushing fluid is gone by checking for drips and leaks.
