The Process

First, you will need to acquire the necessary tools. This includes a jack, a wrench, and some lubricant. Next, you will need to loosen the lug nuts on the front and back of the car. Be sure to use the correct wrench size for the job! Once the nuts have been loosened, use your jack to lift the car off of the ground. Position the car so that the wheels are facing down, and then use your wrench to tighten the lugs against the nuts. Finally, use your lubricant to grease all of the moving parts of the jack and wrench.

Tips for Success

There are a few key things you need to remember when jack-ing a manual car:

1. Get a good support surface. A large, flat rock or pavement will do the trick.
2. Position yourself so that your feet are comfortably positioned on both ends of the car.
3. Place one hand on top of the car and use your other hand to brace yourself against the ground.
4. Lean your body into the jack, keeping your hands close to the ground and your back straight.
5. Push evenly and forcefully until the car is secure, then release your grip and step back.
6. If the jack is not securely attached to the car, use a wrench to loosen it before moving on to step 5.
