What are Anchor Straps?

3. Loosen each strap gradually by pulling it away from its respective clip (Figure D). Make sure not to twist or kink any of the straps as this could cause them to malfunction later on. Once all straps have been loosened, remove them completely and store them safely away.
How to Loosen Anchor Straps
If your car seat is strapped too tightly, it can be difficult to remove or adjust the straps. There are a few ways to loosen the straps:
– use a tool such as a Phillips head screwdriver or an adjustable wrench
– pull on one strap at a time while holding onto the other strap
