Instructions
In this blog post, we will show you how to put on a Jj Cole car seat cover. The following instructions are for use with a convertible car seat. If you have a child’s carrier that attaches to the car seat, follow the instructions for that product instead.
1. Locate your car’s seating configuration and determine which side of the seat your child will be facing when using the car seat in their vehicle.
2. Place your child’s safety belt on their shoulder and pull it tight (but not too tight). You can then release the tether strap if applicable.
3. If your child is rear-facing in their car seat, unfold the shoulder straps so they are parallel to each other and lay them across the back of your child’s shoulders. If your child is forward-facing in their car seat, unfold the straps so they are perpendicular to each other and lay them over your child’s chest. Make sure there is enough fabric covering both ears, nose and mouth as shown in the photo below:
4. Roll up one end of each strap until it matches up with the corresponding buckle on either side of the car seat as shown in the photo below:
5. Insert each buckle into one of the straps by pressing down on it until it snaps into place, making sure that both straps are evenly pulled taut:

1. First, measure the width of your car seat cover and cut a piece of fabric to that measurement. Make sure the edges are lined up so they’re smooth and wrinkle free. If the fabric is too wide, you can pleat it using Fabric Tape.

Tips
Putting on a Jj Cole car seat cover is a simple and easy task that can keep your child safe while they are traveling in the car. Follow these tips to help put on your cover properly:
1. Locate the straps that secure the car seat to the vehicle. These straps should be located near the front of the seat.
2. Unfasten one strap and then use it to pull up on one corner of the car seat cover.
3. Pull up on both corners of the car seat cover until it is sufficiently stretched across all fourof its edges.
4. Place one end of the elastic band over one of the straps, and then use another strap to hold it in place.
5. Repeat these steps with the other end of the elastic band, so that both bands are attached securely to each strap on opposite sides of the car seat cover.
6. Close up any openings in the car seat cover by pulling gently on each side until it is snugly fitted around all edges of your child’s vehicleseat .
