Mesa car seats can be a pain to remove from a Vista stroller. In this article, we will show you a quick and easy way to do it. First, remove the front wheel of the stroller. Next, release the two straps that hold the car seat in place. Finally, pull the car seat out of the stroller. If it’s an older model car seat, you may need to disconnect the harnesses first.
Remove the Manual Fastener
If the car seat is not removable by hand, you may need to remove the manual fastener. The manual fastener is a screw that attaches the car seat to the stroller frame. To remove the manual fastener, unscrew it with a Phillips head screwdriver. Be sure to keep track of which screw goes where; you will need to reattach it in the opposite direction when you’re done.
Remove the Seat Belt
When it’s time to take Mesa out of the car, first make sure the car seat is properly attached to the stroller. There are several ways to do this:
– If the car seat has a strap that connects directly to the stroller frame, thread it through one of the side slots and pull tight.
– If there is no strap, put your hand between Mesa and the stroller fabric and pinch together both ends of the ribbon around her torso. Then lift up on one end of this ribbon and pull outwards until the car seat pops off.
– If Mesa has a buckle closure, insert it into one end of the belt and twist to tighten. Pull up on the other end of the belt to remove Mesa from her car seat.
Remove the Bolster
When you are ready to remove your Mesa car seat from your Vista stroller, follow these simple steps:
1. Open the stroller’s canopy by lifting and pulling it towards you.
2. With the car seat still attached to the frame of the stroller, use a straight edge object like a knife or dowel to pry open one side of the retaining strap at the front of the car seat.
3. Hold onto the end of the strap and carefully pull it away from the car seat. Be sure not to tug on any other parts of the strap as you remove it!
4. Carefully unclip and remove the car seat from its base. You’ll now have two separate pieces: a base with straps and a canopy with fabric panels.
Remove the Cup Holders
babies outgrow their car seat in about a year, but the cup holders on many strollers don’t grow with them. If you want to remove your baby’s car seat from your Vista Stroller, follow these steps:
1. Locate the release button on either side of the Mesa car seat and press it down until it pops out of the stroller.
2. Lift the car seat off of the stroller and remove any excess padding or fabric.
3. Grab the top bar of the Mesa car seat and pull it away from the child’s body.
4. Disconnect the straps from under the child’s arms and release them from their anchors inside of the car seat.
5. Wrap one strap around each arm and hold on to tighten as you lift your child out of the car seat.
6. Hang onto one strap as you replace it beneath your child’s armpits and connect the other end to an anchor within the stroller frame or within your own clothes if needed.
Remove the Foot Rest
If you want to remove your Mesa car seat from the Vista stroller, follow these steps:
1. Open the stroller’s flip-up front panel.
2. Lift up the car seat and set it off to the side.
3. Close the front panel of the stroller and make sure that the car seat is secure in its new location.
