Preparation
Preparation
1. Remove the infant car seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the infant’s infant car seat cover.
3. Disconnect and remove the strap connectors from the base of the car seat.
4. Turn the car seat around so that it is facing away from you and unzip both of the side panels from behind.
5. Graco recommends that you vacuum out all of the loose padding and fabric before applying new padding or fabric, so make sure to have a dustpan and brush available when doing this step. If there are any large pieces of loose fabric, it may be easier to cut them into smaller pieces with scissors before vacuuming them out.
6 . Apply new padding or fabric as described in steps 5 and 6 above, making sure that everything is properly aligned and fit snugly against the sides and back of the car seat.Zip up side panels, making sure to line up zipper teeth with tabs on panel before zipping up

Results
If your baby is fussing and crying in the car, chances are their seat is causing the problem. There are a few ways to remove a pad from a Graco car seat, but the easiest way is to use a belt. You’ll need some pliers and a belt.
1) Open the car door as far as it will go and pull out the child’s belt.
2) Lay the belt on the ground next to the car seat. Make sure the loop end of the belt is facing up.
3) If your Graco has an adjustable strap, adjust it so that it’s snug against your child’s waist but not too tight or too loose. If your Graco doesn’t have an adjustable strap, just tighten it by pulling on either end of the belt.
4) Put one hand on top of the other, slightly overlapping them, and insert them through one gap in between the seat cushions and frame of the car seat (on either side). Be careful not to pinch your fingers!
5) Push down on both sides of each cushion until you feel them release from between the cushions. Gently lift up on each cushion until they pop out, then hold them away from the frame so you can get at the velcro closure around it.
6) Once you’ve opened up all four velcro closures, ease each cushion out from between the fabric panels of the car seat. The pads should come with easy!
