How To Wax Car At Car Wash

Waxing your car at a car wash can be a hassle, but it’s an important step in keeping your vehicle looking its best. In this blog post, we will walk you through the process of waxing your car at a car wash, and teach you some tips to make the experience as smooth as possible. We hope this helps you get your car waxing done quickly and easily!

What You’ll Need

In order to wax a car at a car wash, you will need:
-A bucket or large plastic container
-Wax
-A cloth or terrycloth bath towel
-Windex or other cleaner
-Paint stripper (optional)

If your car is painted, be sure to first remove any protective sealants with a power cleaner and/or paint stripper. Then proceed as follows:
1. Fill the bucket halfway with hot water and add enough wax to make a thick paste. Swish the mixture around until it forms an opaque liquid.
2. Pour the wax mixture into the cloth or towel, and wring out as much moisture as possible. Make sure the surface of the wax is covered completely. The more surface area that is covered, the more effective the wax will be when it’s applied to the car.
3. Apply pressure to the waxed area with your hand, and then quickly rub it off with the towel. Do not use too much pressure – you only want to remove light film of wax from the surface. If there is too much pressure applied, you could damage your car’s finish.

How to Wax A Car

If you’re like most people, you probably wax your car once a month or so. But if you’re like me, you hate having to go to the car wash.

There are a lot of ways to wax your car yourself, and I’m going to show you how to do it using my favorite method: the bucket and cloth.

First, gather your supplies: a bucket of warm water, a towel, some soap, and a applicator cloth. Fill the bucket half-way with warm water and place the applicator cloth in it. Soak the towel in the soapy water and wring it out until it’s just dampened. Place it over the applicator cloth and lower the bucket into the hot water. Hold onto the sides of the bucket as it fills up; don’t let go!

Once the bucket is full, lift it out of the hot water and set it down on an flat surface. Carefully pour off all of the water from the applicator cloth; be sure not to spill any soap! Add enough soap to cover both surfaces of the applicator cloth (you should use about two inches of soap). Rubbing briskly between your hands will create lather
